A successful pomegranate industry depends primarily on proper agro technology methods and a suitable growing protocol. Thus, a major component of the technology package is agro-technology. The extensive R&D activity by Israeli scientists have resulted with better growing practices, adaptation to diversified soil and climate conditions, superior varieties, efficient utilization of irrigation water, high yield and superior fruit quality. The combined know-how would enable the construction of a tailor-made growing protocol to ensure optimal results.
